Sheriff’s narcotics chief D.J. Granville’s restitution finalized after plowing into cars

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County Sheriff’s Chief of Narcotics Daniel “D.J.” Granville owes the county $75,881 in restitution for smashing into seven vehicles on two different streets in Buffalo.

In December, the county and Granville agreed on terms for how Granville will pay restitution for the damages he caused on April 11, 2024, to the seven vehicles.

Granville will cover the bill with 100 hours of vacation time and $350 per pay period, according to the settlement agreement obtained by News 4 Investigates through a Freedom of Information Law request…
