Crews respond to fire in Wheatfield

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Fire crews responded to a fire in the town of Wheatfield late Tuesday afternoon, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Crews responded to a structure fire at 2507 River Rd. around 5:30 p.m. Officials said that when fire crews arrived, the residence was “fully engulfed in flames.” All occupants were evacuated, and the fire was later extinguished, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
