Residents protest ICE outside Buffalo field office

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The day after an ICE officer fatally shot a woman during a confrontation in Minneapolis, a crowd gathered in Downtown Buffalo, protesting outside of the ICE field office, lining the sidewalks of Delaware Avenue and West Chippewa Street.

“We’re out here today to make it clear that it is not okay, that we demand accountability and the goal is to make sure that ICE is not acting with that kind of impunity here in the City of Buffalo,” said Shane Keyes with Our City Action Buffalo.
