BUFFALO, N.Y. — As protests continues in Buffalo and in cities across the country in the wake of the shooting that killed Renee Nicole Goode in Minneapolis, MN on Wednesday, many people are asking what happens next.
“It could happen in Buffalo, I think is part of why we’re here,” said Kim Powers, from the WNY Peace Center. “Renee Nicole Goode was defending her community, was standing for her neighbors when she was murdered by an ICE agent, and we don’t want that to happen in Buffalo.”
