An abandoned BMW in western New York has become an unlikely tourist attraction after days of harsh winter weather left it encased in ice, drawing curious visitors and widespread attention.
Following a period of snow, ice, and strong winds across the state, residents in Hamburg noticed a BMW sitting exposed in a parking lot near Lake Erie. Water from the lake, combined with freezing temperatures, coated the vehicle in thick layers of ice, covering not only the exterior but also the interior. Ice formed over the seats while snow accumulated inside the cabin, giving the car the appearance of a frozen shell.
