1 taken to hospital after Marigold Ave. fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person was taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation following a fire on Marigold Avenue Sunday night, officials said.

The Buffalo Fire Department responded to a fire at 125 Marigold Ave. shortly after 7:30 p.m. The fire originated on the second floor and was contained by fire crews, officials said. The Red Cross is assisting two adults following the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
