BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A winter storm warning is in effect for all of Western New York excluding Allegany, Niagara and Orleans Countiesas heavy lake effect snow and wind gusts create sporadic whiteout conditions.
A travel advisory is currently in effect until further notice for Erie County after it was first issued at 10 p.m. on Sunday. Visibility on the 90 and I-190 North was heavily impacted by blowing winds Monday afternoon while cars traveled at low speeds.
