BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Residents in Lackawanna spoke out on Monday after a local addiction treatment facility paused services over a month ago due to a lack of city funds.
The Buffalo Clinical Lab and Testing Center closed 36 days ago after serving 13,000 patients “without sustainable city funding.” Now residents are pushing for additional funding for the clinic to ensure Lackawanna residents dealing with substance abuse have a reliable safety net.
