Buffalo, NY – Drivers across Western New York should remain alert tonight as a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1 a.m. Sunday, bringing localized lake effect snow and slippery travel conditions along major roadways including Interstate 90, Interstate 190, and Route 33.
According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, narrow bands of lake effect snow will continue this evening across Niagara, Orleans, northern Erie, Genesee, and Wyoming counties. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected in areas where lake snow bands persist the longest…
