BUFFALO, N.Y. — Wednesday was supposed to be a big day in court for a group of residents opposed to a planned Buffalo Police training center in their East Side neighborhood
However, as they were gearing up for their first appearance before a judge after filing a lawsuit in December, lawyers for the city were granted a one month adjournment in order to better prepare for the case.
While disappointed with the delay those who brought the lawsuit remain as determined as ever, according to their attorney Stephanie A. Adams, who told 2 On Your Side she agreed to the delay only after gaining assurances from the the city that it would not move any further to develop the project until after the judge hears their case…
