Buffalo man charged in shots fired incident in Tops parking lot

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is facing charges following a shots fired incident at the Tops on Jefferson Avenue on Feb. 7, Buffalo Police announced.

Allen Belton, 34, has been charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police responded to the Tops on Jefferson around 3 p.m. on Feb. 7 for an alleged shooting; police said multiple vehicles in the parking lot allegedly shot at each other before leaving the scene.

Police said that three vehicles were impounded and several subjects were interviewed as part of their investigation; police also said that Belton turned himself into police on Tuesday morning…
