BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Western New York nurse is turning a personal mission into a growing business, and helping hospital patients feel a little more comfortable along the way.
Jill Miller started Skincare Essentials by Jill six years ago after the birth of her daughter, Saniya. When Saniya developed infant eczema, Miller says she struggled with the idea of using certain medications on her newborn.
“I am a nurse by trade of 20 years,” Miller said. “She was born with infant eczema. It didn’t sit well with me as a nurse and a mother to put steroids and antibiotics on a newborn baby. I remember coming home very adamant to make her something natural to help manage dry skin and eczema-prone skin.”…
