BUFFALO, N.Y. — A new fast-casual chicken restaurant will open its doors in downtown Buffalo on Thursday.
Hencraft held a ribbon cutting Wednesday at its new location at the corner of Delaware Avenue and West Chippewa Street, next to Starbucks. The company is making a bold claim, calling itself the second-best chicken creation to ever come out of Buffalo.
“We can give credit to the Buffalo wing, Buffalo chicken. We all love it, we all eat a lot of it. This is a little bit different. This is a handheld. This is to take on the go. You’re driving up Delaware Ave, you can eat a chicken sandwich. You’re going out on the 33 to the Walden Galleria to get a little shopping done, you’re having a chicken sandwich, maybe some fried pickles.
