ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Over $125,000 worth of counterfeit items were seized at the Ports of Rochester and Buffalo between February and March.
According to Customs and Border Protection investigators, they inspected multiple shipments that appeared to contain designer items like watches, jewelry, handbags, and clothes.
Investigators confirmed that if the watches were genuine, they would be worth around $82,000. The remainder of the items would be worth $43,000 if they were authentic.
