BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A popular Allentown eatery located near Delaware Avenue celebrated its grand reopening this weekend after weeks of renovations.
Fat Bob’s Smokehouse is open again after renovating its Virginia Place location. The restaurant took the opportunity to cater to parade goers during the several St. Patrick’s Day celebrations that took place over the weekend.
“The restaurant side has been strong, the piece that has been slow to come back has been the bar, so this was the opportunity to kind of give ourselves a facelift, a 20-year business with a lot of traffic, it was tired, it was beat up,” said Fat Bob’s owner, Patrick Ryan. “That reinvestment in the experience, people can enjoy themselves at the bar without all the traffic of our people … people coming to pick up takeout and all that.”…
