Severe Weather On Tap Today Across Western New York

It will be a warm and VERY windy day across Western New York, and that could have a big impact on your travel around the 716. A major storm front that moved in on Sunday will continue today and into Tuesday, bringing some very windy conditions to the area.

High Wind Warning In Place For Western New York

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a High Wind Warning for Chautauqua and Southern Erie counties, and that includes cities and towns like Jamestown, Orchard Park, Hamburg, and Springville. There is a Wind Advisory in place for the rest of Western New York until 8 am on Tuesday.

Winds increase through this evening & continue into Tuesday. Winds will become strong to damaging at times.
