Buffalo man sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting woman

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man was sentenced to prison for shooting a woman last year.

Quameir K. King, 24 was sentenced Monday in Erie County Court to 10 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision. King was sentenced as a second violent felony offender. He pleaded guilty to one count Assault in the First Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree in January.
