Man admits to fatal stabbing of dog in Tonawanda

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man who previously lived in Tonawanda admitted to an animal cruelty charge on Tuesday after he stabbed a dog to death last year, the Erie County District Attorney’s office said.

On Feb. 24, 21-year-old Emery Kawski stabbed a 4-year-old Boston Terrier named ‘Pop Rocks’ at his residence in Tonawanda. The dog was found dead with stab wounds to the abdomen in a nearby garbage can.
