Longtime WNY radio host leaving the airways

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A longtime WNY radio host is hanging up the microphone after over three decades on the air.

WIVB News 4 has confirmed that WSKE-FM (Kiss 98.5) morning show host Janet Snyder will be leaving the station this spring.

Snyder, who co-hosts with Nick Picholas on Kiss 98.5 from 6-10 a.m. weekdays, made history becoming the first woman to lead a morning radio show in Buffalo, according to station owner Audacy. The radio host was inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2023…
