1 dead after 4-vehicle crash on Route 33

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person is dead after an accident involving four vehicles occurred overnight on Route 33, Buffalo police announced.

Officers responded to the Kensington Expressway at Locust Street around 11:40 p.m. Thursday. One driver was taken to ECMC with serious injuries and later died, police said. No other serious injuries were reported.

The identity of the driver has not yet been released. An investigation remains ongoing.
