BUFFALO, N.Y. — As the war with Iran continues, new threats from Tehran are creating concern for tourist destinations around the world.
With places like Niagara Falls drawing millions each year, questions are being raised about security here at home. In televised remarks today, Iran’s top military leader, Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi, warned that “parks, recreational areas and tourist destinations” worldwide won’t be safe for the country’s enemies.
But local law enforcement agencies say they’ve been preparing for threats long before this conflict broke out…
