BUFFALO, N.Y. — This is the last week for Osteria 166 before they close their doors at 166 Franklin and prepare for a new concept restaurant in downtown Buffalo.
“The last few weeks have been a bit of an emotional roller coaster for us – excitement about what’s ahead, sadness saying goodbye to this location, but most of all gratitude,” co-owner Nick Pitillo said. “In so many ways, it seems like it was just yesterday that we opened the doors. We want these next few days to be very special, and I know they will be.”
Owners Pitillo and Edward Gurbacki, who opened Osteria 166 in 2013, announced that the restaurant will shift to a new concept and location inside Ulrich’s 1868 Tavern at 674 Ellicott Street. The focus will be on cause lunch service with the option to get grab and go meals for dinner after work…
