PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) — Police are asking for the public’s help with any information about the disappearance of 44-year-old Brian Serafin.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Serafin was reported missing from Tonawanda, New York, on Aug. 11, 2025. He was last seen driving a tan 2006 Jeep Liberty with New York plates. Police were able to trace his movements at the beginning of the search, with his phone last pinging Aug. 11 around 9 p.m. near Bradford, PA.
Serafin and his vehicle weren’t seen again.
Two months later, the Jeep Liberty was found parked on a dirt road along Forest Road 133 south of U.S. Route 6 near Kane, Pennsylvania, after a resident reported finding it in the Allegheny National Forest. Serafin was not found in or around the car. The resident reportedly told police they had seen the vehicle there about three weeks earlier and had returned to find it parked in the same spot…
