Buffalo Public Schools has made its District-Wide Safety Plan available for public review.
The new plan covers day-to-day rules and regulations, as well as severe weather closures and emergency situations.
“The District-Wide School Safety Plan is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, staff, and visitors by outlining policies and procedures for the prevention of, and response to, emergencies and crisis situations. For security reasons, specific emergency response protocols are not included in the publicly available version of the plan,” district officials said. “The plan was developed by the District’s School Safety Team and reflects current guidance, statutory requirements, and best practices.”…
