Man arrested for pulling gun at Bar-Bill in East Aurora

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A West Seneca man was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun during a tip dispute at Bar-Bill Tavern in East Aurora earlier this week, according to police.

Police were called to the restaurant at around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, where 40-year-old Scott Rutkowski is accused of pulling a gun after he got upset over a $1 tip left by another customer.

Rutkowski allegedly went to his car and came back into the restaurant with the gun after he got upset. He is further accused of pointing it at the direction of “several” customers, including at one person’s genitals, and threatening to shoot the customers who left the tip, according to the police report. Rutkowski was found a little over two hours later in Springville and was arrested…
