Community honors life of WWII veteran

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Community members in North Tonawanda remembered the life of World War II veteran and local icon William Gosch, honoring his legacy and impact in Western New York.

Gosch died last week at the age of 102. Better known as Bill Gosch, community members said he was known and loved for his bright personality and patriotism. For three years, Gosch proudly served in the Marines during World War II.
