Bank of America to close Elma office in June

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Bank of America will close its Elma office in June in a move that will affect more than 150 employees, according to documents filed with the New York State Department of Labor.

The bank’s operations center, which has been at 611 Jamison Road in Elma for six years, will shut down on June 24. A total of 252 employees work at the operations center. The notice filed with the state said that 170 employees will be affected. Employees there are not represented by a union.
