BUFFALO, N.Y. — We now know which streets in Buffalo are expected to be paved this year. Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan made the announcement Monday afternoon.
And new this year, the city will be partnering with the company Cyvl to map the conditions of the streets and sidewalks. Cyvl uses lidar technology to track and scan the condition of the pavement.
This will cost around $400,000, and is mostly covered by a federal grant based on making the sidewalks ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant as part of the Safe Streets program…
