Motorcyclist dead after crash in Porter

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Porter on Monday afternoon, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said.

The motorcyclist hit a pickup truck around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Youngstown-Wilson Road and Dickersonville Road, officials said. Officials said that an early investigation indicated that the motorcyclist was attempting to pass the pickup truck as the pickup truck began making a left turn onto Dickersonville Road.

The names of the people involved are currently being withheld pending the notification of family members, and the accident remains under investigation.
