BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was sentenced 25 years to life in prison for a fatal shooting near Young and Ashley Street in 2024, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.
Timé J. Thomas, Jr., 32, was found guilty of intentionally shooting and killing 31-year-old Quentin Sims around 8:50 p.m. on April 26, 2024. Sims was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jurors provided their decision in February 2026 after a five-day trial, convicting Thomas of second-degree murder.
