Niagara Falls Police arrested a Buffalo man in connection with the city’s first homicide of 2026 following an investigation into the death of a woman found inside the Niagara Towers apartment complex earlier this month.
Criminal Investigations Division (CID) detectives, working alongside the U.S. Marshals Service, took 39-year-old Lamont Kirk into custody Thursday afternoon in the Town of Hamburg. Authorities said he has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 37-year-old Jessica Emery, a Niagara Falls resident.
