Third-party firm hired to scrub negative coverage of Croft’s DWI arrest sought removal of published reports
Starpoint Central School District Superintendent Dr. Sean Croft is leaving his position after reaching a mutual agreement with the district’s Board of Education. District officials announced that Croft’s departure will take effect May 1st with Maureen Braunscheidel appointed to serve as interim superintendent while the board begins the search for a permanent replacement. In a joint letter issued to staff and families, the district and Croft formally outlined the transition and reflected on his long service.
