ALBANY — Two Capital Region students currently attending the State University at Buffalo are among the recipients of the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship Awards, which support college sophomores and juniors who show exceptional potential in their pursuit of STEM-based doctorates and careers in research.
Carsyn Bonesteel of Saratoga Springs and Matthew Bablin of Ballston Spa, both juniors at UB, were among the 454 winners selected from nearly 1,500 nominees from across the nation.
