BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The public may never know the source of the strong chemical odors in the Buffalo region last month.
On April 22, some residents filed complaints with the state Department of Environmental Conservation about a strong chlorine odor.
The DEC’s investigation never found the source of the odors. In fact, the agency said its team never detected the odors when it arrived that day. On April 27, the agency told WIVB it was still investigating the complaints, but did not have any new information to report…
