BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Sir Roger Daltrey of historic rock band The Who will be bringing his “A Great Night Out Tour” to Artpark on Sept. 17, the musician announced via press release on Wednesday.
Two years since Daltrey’s last solo shows and less than a year removed from what has been deemed The Who’s “final North America show,” Daltrey is back on the road, with the Artpark show set to take place on the venue’s Mainstage Theater. According to the release, the show will span Daltrey’s solo work and hits from The Who, in addition to some surprises.
The tour kicks off Aug. 23 in Mesa, Ariz. and will feature a slew of talented, hand-picked musicians, including guitarist Simon Townshend, the younger brother of Daltrey’s Who bandmate Pete Townshend…
