$70M project begins Main Street improvements

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — New improvements are underway through a $70 million project upgrading Buffalo’s Main Street, an effort city officials said has been ignored for far too long.

“Main Street is a wreck, and it’s been a wreck for a long time,” Mayor Sean Ryan said as he broke ground on the project Monday morning, calling the construction a “transformational investment.”
