A month-long undercover investigation ended with a Charlotte County man behind bars after he allegedly sold hundreds of prescription pills and cocaine directly to narcotics detectives.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit launched the probe into 53-year-old Christopher Michael Scalisi after receiving multiple community tips accusing him of dealing drugs throughout the county. During May, undercover detectives met with Scalisi on several occasions, purchasing cocaine, Xanax/Alprazolam pills, and Amphetamine pills.
By the end of the operation, authorities had seized 7.8 grams of cocaine, 10 Xanax/Alprazolam pills, and 563 Amphetamine pills weighing over 221 grams…
