Higher storm coverage Tuesday with seasonal highs

FORT MYERS, Fla.

After tying record heat Monday, highs will return to the seasonal low 90s Tuesday. We’ll see a slight uptick in afternoon storm coverage but many communities will stay dry. The biggest threats will be heavy rain and lightning.

While many across the Gulf Coast felt tremors from the magnitude 6.1 earthquake reported Monday afternoon off the west coast of Cuba, it’s unlikely to feel aftershocks today.
