Florida firefighters rescue ‘good boy’ from canal

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WFLA)— A “good boy” was rescued from a canal on Wednesday by the Cape Coral Fire Department.

The pup was rescued from a canal Wednesday evening near the 2900 block of SE 5th Avenue, according to firefighters.

Pictures showed the dog being rescued by firefighters from the canal before heading to the station for a bath and treatment.

Firefighters were unable to find his owners, so they took him back to the station, where Lee County EMS crews treated a cut paw…
