A manatee named “Nubelle” returned to Cape Coral waters after recovering from a boat strike that left her with a broken rib and punctured lung.
Zoo Tampa and FWC say Nubelle was released Tuesday morning after taking six months to heal fully.
Her caretakers say that her recovery timeline is faster than that of many manatees with similar injuries…
