Scorching heat with scattered afternoon storms

FORT MYERS, Fla.

Another heat advisory is in effect for all of the Gulf Coast from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. as feels-like temperatures soar near 110 degrees on Saturday. No matter what you have planned, make sure you have ways to stay safe as things heat up during the day today.

Besides the heat, your Gulf Coast Weather Most Accurate Forecast calls for another day with scattered storms expected. The best chance for rain looks to be about 40% coverage from 4 through 7 p.m. Saturday. Some storms may produce gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning.
