Back to a dry start Wednesday; Widespread evening storms

FORT MYERS, Fla.

A return to an east wind Wednesday will finally shut down our morning rain chances. Despite a dry start, expect widespread storms near the coast by this evening.

Your Gulf Coast Weather Most Accurate Forecast says ahead of the storms, highs will remain seasonal in the low 90s. Expect storms to linger near the coast even after sunset as lows fall into the upper 70s.

We’ll be back to dry mornings for the rest of the work week, though widespread storms will target the coast by the evenings. Use caution during the evening commutes as many areas near I-75 will see heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds…
