Offshore powerboat racing returned to Fort Myers Beach, Fla., yesterday for the first time in five years with the qualifying round of the Super Stock-class Roar Offshore event sanctioned by the American Power Boat Association. The 30-minute round saw 17 take teams take to the right-and-left-turn course and led to a top-five qualifying finale.
