Late-Night Doughnuts At Lee County 7-Eleven Lead to Arrest, Cocaine Found In Driver’s Boot

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested a Lehigh Acres man late Saturday night after he was allegedly caught doing doughnuts in a convenience store parking lot and tried to hide his identification and drugs from law enforcement.

The incident happened around 11:48 p.m. on Sept. 12 near State Road 82 and Sunshine Boulevard. According to an FHP report, troopers spotted a driver doing repeated doughnut maneuvers and driving recklessly across a 7-Eleven parking lot.

When troopers moved in to pull the car over, the driver tried to flee across the lot before stopping and getting out of the vehicle. Investigators say the man tossed his wallet under a nearby tree to conceal his identity. Troopers quickly retrieved the wallet and identified the driver as 30-year-old Robins Wilky Alexandre via his Florida ID card…
