Lee County waterfront home sale sets resort record at nearly $10M

The South Seas Resort, a luxury development on Captiva Island, closed out 2024 with a record sale: a $9.67 million purchase of a five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom private residence.

The sale, according to the listing brokerage, John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate, was the highest-priced residential sale ever at the resort. According to Southwest Florida MLS records, the sale, as of Jan. 2, ranks No.8 all-time in residential sales on Lee County’s Captiva Island. The Gulf-front residence property, dubbed Sosianna-SEArendipity, is at 1119 Schefflera Court.
