PUNTA GORDA — With $1.75 million from the newly approved Florida budget, Charlotte County Public Schools can move forward with building the Southwest Florida Advanced Manufacturing Training Center at the Punta Gorda Airport.
With Gov. Ron DeSantis signing the 2026 state budget, the $1.75 million appropriation was approved to support the workforce development efforts in Charlotte County.
