ENGLEWOOD — Commissioner Joe Tiseo repeatedly banged his gavel as residents yelled and applauded others who asked Charlotte County Board of Commissioners not to raise their tax assessments or tax vacant lots during Thursday night’s public hearing in Englewood.
By 10:30 p.m. Tiseo said he was too hungry and tired to use the gavel anymore.
