Lee County deputies arrest man in Alva domestic incident, Sunday

LCSO reports a man faces charges of domestic battery by strangulation and resisting arrest, after this incident.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office reports that Saturday afternoon, deputies responded to home on Angelica Drive in Alva following a report of a domestic disturbance. Arriving deputies said the suspect and victim had argued, until the suspect — Michael Wilson — physically attacked the victim and then left, according to LCSO.

Deputies said Wilson returned to the home that night and entered through the garage, where he barricaded himself. Deputies immediately evacuated the victim from the home to ensure their safety.
