Fort Myers-based Golden Marine Systems has completed the first phase of a new dock system at Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral.
The project, according to a statement, marks “a major step forward in the waterfront property’s hurricane-resilient redevelopment.” The project, the release adds, comes in response to the “failure of the marina’s previous concrete dock system, which proved too rigid to endure the wind and wave energy from recent storm events.”
