PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WWSB) – A Charlotte County man faces felony littering charges after he told deputies he tossed a large load of waste material along a road rather than taking it to the landfill, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said.
The county’s Parks and Recreation Department called deputies Aug. 20 after staff discovered a large pile of trash on the ground beside the Tippecanoe II Environmental Park.
